“We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.”

We are “Dayspring” Church, and we get our name from the prophecy of Jesus’ birth in Luke 1:78-79, ‘Because the tender mercy of our God, with which the Dayspring (Jesus Christ) from on high will visit us, to shine upon those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.’

We are “Baptist.” Baptism is an ordinance of the Lord Jesus, obligatory upon every believer, wherein he is immersed in water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, as a sign of his fellowship with the death and resurrection of Christ, of remission of sins, and of his giving himself up to God, to live and walk in newness of life.

We are Dayspring “Church,” because our faith is in the person and work of Jesus Christ. We are a local church of professing believers who have been saved to worship God in spirit and truth, to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, and to evangelize the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.”

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made; Who, for us men and our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge both the living and the dead; Whose kingdom shall have no end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets. And we believe in one holy universal and apostolic church . We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
